If you are looking for a job in Ireland, the first thing you will need is a CV (Curriculum Vítae).

Here you can find some tips and sample CVs which will help you get started.

 

CV tips:

 

  • Always type your CV in the first person rather than the third person
  • Never incorporate graphics, shading, brackets, italics, underlining or columns
  • Always check the spelling and grammar
  • Be careful when you use abbreviations - they can be misunderstood
  • Highlight the qualities you have
  • Avoid long paragraphs, CVs are read quickly
  • Only use white A4 paper with black print
  • Check and recheck your CV for any mistake
