Monday 12th July : Christ Church Cathedral - At the heart of the city of Dublin for almost a thousand years, Christ Church cathedral has a rich cultural history which can be traced from the Vikings and the Anglo-Normans to the present. Its diverse architectural and sculptural heritage remains a source of fascination to visitors and pilgrims alike who enter this hallowed space. Tours are only €2.50 for students. - 10 AM or 1 PM Meet in ISI Lobby
Monday 12th July : Ice Cream and Ice Breakers - Come meet other ISI students AND enjoy FREE ice cream at this “ice cream and ice breakers” party. We will eat ice cream and candy and play get-to-know-you ice breaker games. This is a great way to meet other international students and take a break before or after class. - 4:30 PM ISI Canteen
Monday 12th July : “Eclipse” movie, Evening film - Bella Swan is reunited with the love of her life (and vampire), Edward Cullen. Tuesday 13th July : French Week Comes to the Docklands - Celebrating all things French with fabulous French markets, music and dancing! Spencer Dock will become a little piece of Paris, so walk down the boulevard and indulge in some fresh French pastries and whisk your senses in the French experience of a fun packed day! - 2 PM or 4:20 PM Meet in the ISI lobby
Wednesday 14th July : Malahide Castle tour - Malahide Castle is one of the oldest and most historic castles in Ireland. From 1185 until 1975, it was the home of the Talbot family. This was a remarkable tenure by a single family and is one of the longest in Ireland. It costs money to go inside the castle, but it is FREE to walk around the grounds. Just a short Dart ride from school, this is a must-see while in Ireland! - 9 AM or 1:30 PM Meet in ISI lobby – take Dart to Malahide
Thursday 15th July : ISI Football Tournament - Think you have what it takes to be called the ISI football champion. Teams of eleven players will compete at Pheonix Park in this competition to see who the best athletes are at school. Teams MUST sign up by Wednesday evening, so Erin can create a tournament schedule. The final winning team will receive a grand prize from the school. - 4:15 PM Meet in ISI lobby- bus to Phoenix Park
Friday 16th July : ISI’s first 2010 SUMMER PARTY at Jack Nealson Pub - ISI is renting out the top floor of Nealson Pub for an ISI Summer Frat Party! FREE HOT FOOD will be served ALL NIGHT, a dj will play TOP HIT MUSIC, and drinks will be 3 or 3.5€ ALL NIGHT. * NOTE: THIS PARTY IS FOR STUDENTS +18* We will also have, guitar hero, drinking games, foosball, plasma screen TVs, and much more! - 5 – 8 PM Nealson’s Pub, 165 Capel Street
